I Believe In...

Yesterday I woke up to a blogger feed full of posts titled "I Believe In..." Not wanting to be left out of the fun, I immediately opened every single one in a separate tab, grabbed my breakfast and began to sift through them all. They ranged from funny personal little things to more substantial reminders of things that I sometimes forget.

So, I decided to join in on the fun.

I believe in always having your nails painted

 

I believe in the magic of a good Disney movie every now and then

I believe in dysfunctional families, everyone has one, we just have to learn to love them

I believe in the joy a bottle of glitter and mod podge can bring on a rainy day

I believe in God's plan

I believe in the miracle of children and all they can teach us

I believe in never having too much pink

I believe in being honest while remaining gentle and kind

I believe in gentlemen who are willing to open doors and pull out chairs for you

I believe in the power of a good red lipstick

I believe in laughter as a cure for almost anything

I believe in little reminders sometimes being the best reminders

I believe in country music

I believe in making your dreams come true, one step at a time

I believe in long distance friendships

I believe in creating your own kind of family amongst the chaos

I believe in bows

I believe in long naps

I believe in forgiveness

I believe in the truth

I believe in being a little sassy 'round the edges

I believe in the importance of a good long run, no matter how hard that first step is

I believe in the journey

I believe in learning to love myself no matter how long it takes
